GB's WPC & GPC Affiliates in Alliance
In a victory for unity, Dave Beattie has announced that Great Britain's affiliates to the WPC and GPC, the BPC and GPCGB, have formed an alliance. Beattie, who helped broker the alliance, says that the federations will run unified qualifiers as well as a unified British Championship.

Nick Weite dominated the equipped action on Saturday at the USAPL Missouri State/Ozark Open in St. Louis, Missouri. Just a week after competing at the Arnold Classic, Weite (275) put up a 2,171 pound total. Currently, he is ranked sixth on the Lifter Rankings with a 2,177 pound total.
