How much is your blog worth?

Your blog is likely a labor of love, and therefore priceless by any standard - however, one guy developed a fun little tool that can help you calculate the value of your blog in actual good old fashioned currency, cash money...
Simply enter your blog's URL and the code does the rest - using a 'link to dollar ratio' comparative to the AOL, Weblogs Inc. deal - or something like that. Apparently it's based on the number of incoming links to your site (but only those that Technorati is aware of) So keep in mind, if you, like Bloggapedia, have been slow to jump on the Technorati bandwagon your 'value' will be completely misconstrued and the resulting total appraisal could well end up hurting your feelings.
Bloggapedia has well over 5,000 backlinks according to Google (but we all know how slow they are to update these things....) and then there's our nearly 48,000 backlinks according to Yahoo! - we think they should rewrite that little applet to consider those too...
In any case, you can easily publish the result on your own blog or website, as we've done here (we've added our own little 'disclaimer' to the text inside the box to make it very very clear where this dollar amount comes from - anyway, if you're big on Technorati we suppose your blog will have a relatively higher implied value):

Not just a blog, it's a virtual classroom!
PHP Blog Manager, the new blogging tool that gives us this fabulous customized look, has just upgraded the user control panel to include a live chat room!
What a cool idea!
Each blog account manager may add users, assign passwords and permissions, etc. allowing others to participate and post in the blog at their discretion. Now all of the members in a blog group can meet inside their blogging accounts via the Group Chat feature.
The feature is still in the beta stages, with lots of promising updates soon to be added in - but even in this early phase it provides a quick and easy way to generate ideas as a group, have meetings, and even run a virtual classroom.
You can check out the feature by registering for an account here.

Yet another fabulous toy to add to your blog, allowing you to communicate your mood to site visitors via a tiny emotional cartoon graphic - iMood.
Granted, this isn't something you'd want to add to your professional blog - but it's a sweet little accessory for those with a more casual blog, or for the younger generations.
