Submitting a blog to Bloggapedia is easy - but first you have to register. Once you have a username and password, log in to the site and click the 'Submit' link in the menu. Enter your details as requested by the submit form and that's it!
Yes, of course! Your profile has plenty of room for ALL of your blogs.
We receive hundreds of blog submissions daily and our editors review every single blog by visiting the URL provided and checking to see that the blog meets our submission requirements. Editors do NOT work weekends. And no, sending us an inquiry asking after your blog is not going to make the process go any faster.
You will receive an email letting you know that your blog has either been approved, or declined, as the case may be.
There are any number of reasons (and then some) that your blog may have been rejected. (Keep in mind, you can always resubmit.)
A few of the main reasons a blog is rejected -
-You did not enter a valid URL
-You entered a string of keywords in the title or description
-You did not verify that your description met the character limit and submitted an incomplete description
-Your blog has not been online with CONSISTENT posts for at least THREE MONTHS. If we can't find your archives we won't know how long you've been blogging.
-The description you provided contained numerous grammatical or spelling errors. Please spell check your submission!
-Your blog is so stuffed with advertising we could not find the content
-Your blog is an online store or an extension of an online store - these blogs MUST be placed in the 'Shopping' category.
-Your blog is written in a language other than English - these blogs MUST be placed in the 'World' category.
-Your blog is clearly a PPP blog or otherwise set up just to advertise something
-The URL you submitted is not a blog (please submit the MAIN blog page, NOT a splash page)
-We could not open the URL you sent - perhaps your blog was offline at the time we visited
-Your blog contained pornography, hate material, or illegal content
-You submitted the same blog more than once - either it is already in our directory or you sent in multiple submissions for the same blog all at once (in this case ALL duplicate submissions are deleted.)
-You didn't bother trying to find an appropriate category for your blog
-You wrote your title or description in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS
-You did not enter the actual title of your blog in the 'title' field
-Etcetera....
No, sorry. No dice.
You may try to resubmit if you feel your blog was wrongly declined, but remember the final decision is up to our editors and no amount of cajoling is going to change that.

Keep in mind that editing any part of your blog listing moves it back into the review queue for editor approval and it will not be visible on the site during this time.
Editing your profile details does not have any impact on your blog listing.

There is a 'Delete' option link next to your blog listing inside your profile. Clicking this will permanently remove your blog and RSS feed from Bloggapedia Blog Directory.
Do not contact us asking that your information be removed as we will not manually remove any information from the site. Your username and password allow you to log in and manage all details of your account, including deletion. We do not respond to delete requests because anyone could write in claiming to own any listing in the directory.
On the login page you will notice a link 'I forgot my password'. Click this to reset your password - you will be prompted to enter your username and the email address you used to register your account.
Encourage your readers to vote for your blog at Bloggapedia Blog Directory. Top rated blogs appear on our front page.
Log in to your profile and click the "Make Featured" link next to the blog you wish to feature. You will be guided through the process. Your blog will move back into the queue for review. Featured blogs will be reviewed within 48 hours excluding weekends.
The thumbnail images we use on Bloggapedia Blog Directory are generated by a service called Alexa. We do not have the ability to influence when the Alexa spiders visit your blog for a new image. Please visit the Alexa site for more information.
